HELLO FROM THE NEW CFF PRESIDENT September 2013

What an honor and privilege to step into the role as President of Capitol Fellowship Foundation. Twenty eight years ago, CFF was birthed in the heart of Joe Walsh as an organization that would encourage the building of relationships between the Christian community and our State Government leaders. As a result of Joe's vision and perseverance, much has been accomplished under his leadership that has opened doors for different ministries at the State Capitol such as the Governor's Prayer Team, Governor's Prayer Breakfast, mentoring legislators and staff, the Observance of the National Day of Prayer, intercessory prayer, prayer walking, and much more.

Through the spiritual mentoring of Joe for the past five years, God has prepared me for such a time as this.  I am looking forward to what God plans to do in our city and in the Sacramento region.  I will encourage the continuation of these ministries, link arms with prayer ministry leaders, help to increase a greater participation through prayer among the churches in the Sacramento Region and endeavor to bring the Kingdom of God to the door steps of our State Capitol.

There are four main goals I would like to accomplish as president. First, at the State Capitol, provide prayer ministry opportunities for the Christian community. Second, develop a working relationship with prayer ministry leaders in the Sacramento region. Third, build relationships with government leaders and their staff. Last but not least, to see significant spiritual transformation in our city.

2 Chronicles 7:14  says "If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin , and will heal their land."

God is calling His church to partner with Him so that we can experience an incredible outpouring of His spirit in our land.

Pray on,

Tom Senter
CFF President
