CFFi Partners with the CHRISTIAN EMERGENCY NETWORK

CEN is a grassroots network equipping Christians to serve communities in crisis.

Mary Marr  Mary Marr, CEO, CEN

The ReadyChristian, ReadyChurch and ReadyCity curriculum presents a preparedness and action plan for response. Churches and community networks use the Ready Series to assess readiness, prepare, and then mobilize for an individual, church or community-wide response. In addition, CEN provides a social platform for organizing volunteers, connecting with other churches, and community outreach. In the resource center, we offer advanced training, emergency supplies, and emergency response gear from our partners.

Sandie SangsterCFFi has been invited to assist CEN's  Prayer Director, Sandie Sangster, with "prayer mobilization and communication" for emergency services.  I invite you to come and JOIN our prayer team and make a difference in the middle of chaos and confusion.  Your prayers will bring life and hope!

Prayer is the First Response

ReadyIndyMichael Boler, ReadyIndy Administrator explains how the Henrysville, IN tornadoes engaged church prayer leaders in the first step of churches seeing their own need to be ready for disaster before helping others. “ReadyIndy is setting up a prayer coordinator for churches in each zip code in Indianapolis, to extend to one prayer coordinator for each county in Indiana. Prayer coordinators commit to regularly pray for ReadyIndy and each individual church by name."

Promote CEN

Invite your Christian family members, friends, neighbors, church body, and workmates to register at CEN to benefit from receiving Christian preparedness and response information, training, and a biblical worldview perspective on today's crisis and disaster events. You will all learn the importance of "being there" for others in their crisis situations. You will witness God using you in others' lives - even to the extent of bringing some non-believers to a point of salvation. Below are some ways you can start to help build the network.

Become aware, ready and there...to respond like Jesus would to those in crisis.  Help your website visitors prepare to be for the next national crisis by putting the CEN logo on your homepage and link it to...http://www.ChristianEmergencyNetwork.org.  See what we did here at CFFi.
